MCATLANTS sends two pixel-art adventurers into the mythical underwater world of Atlantis for a cooperative dungeon crawl. Teamwork is everything in this game — you and your friend must fight side by side, defeat all the monsters blocking your path, and collect the black coins needed to create the portal home. Player 1 uses WASD to move, Player 2 uses the Arrow Keys, and both players can throw their swords using the Q and P keys respectively for ranged attacks. The underwater Atlantis setting gives the game a unique visual identity compared to typical Minecraft-style adventures, with coral-covered ruins and deep-sea creatures adding atmosphere to every level. The combat is straightforward but satisfying, and the co-op requirement means you need to communicate and coordinate your attacks to survive tougher monster waves. As you progress, the enemies get stronger and the platforming gets trickier, making every level a fresh challenge. A great 2 player co-op game for students who love pixel-art dungeon crawlers.
